Playin'

I'm not a big music enthusiast but I do listen music (like 99,99% of the people, basically all people who can hear). My favourite kind of music is definately movie music. I don't know anything better. But I do also listen classical, pop, rock, blues, hip hop, jazz and soul music, almost anything (except heavy metal). Here's some examples of my music taste:

Stay with me by Norwegian singer Jarle Bernhoft. I've had the privilege of listening him sing this song live (not where the video was taken) and I can tell, he's very good! Warmly recommended.

Here comes the movie music :D The Good, The Bad and The Ugly - one of the greatest movies ever - has also one of the greatest soundtracks ever. This opening theme song is only one of the great songs this movie has to offer. Ennio Morricone did excellent job in this movie indeed. There are so many other movies that have great music that I'll probably have to make one blog post of only that topic ;)

Janelle MonĂ¡e is a small woman with a big voice. It's amazing how energetic she can be on stage. And she makes good music, too! In Nobel Peace Prize concert she performed three songs, Cold War (the song in this video), Tightrope and Michael Jackson's I Want You Back. (I think her version of I Want You Back is actually better than Michael Jackson's...)

What can I say? I'm not immune to Glee. Those young actors and actresses make very good music indeed. I especially like these songs where they have mixed two songs, Thriller and Heads Will Roll in this case. It must be hard to mix two songs but they make it look so simple :)

Postcards from China, Indonesia, South Korea & UK!

Each postcard I own has been categorized to different categories like nature, city, multiview or map in my computer. These four cards here haven't really found a proper category which is why they all belong to other-category. But when I have more time again, I will find them all a better category :)

Oh, by the way, after posting my latest map postcards from... -post, I noticed that I have posted two map postcards here twice. One is the Canada map postcard I posted yesterday, and the other is Massachusetts state map postcards I've posted a while ago. From now on I try not to post same postcards twice :D

Map postcards from Algeria, Belgium, Canada & China!

Four cards from my country map collections. The postcard which shows Western Europe is the one I received from China.
NB! I have created a new page for this blog, called Postcards. I will there post links to my postcard albums in Photobucket. So far there is only one album, Algeria, with only one postcard but in time I hope to post all my postcards there. Nevertheless, I will still keep on posting my postcards here, too.

Postcards from Sweden!

Here are two very similar looking postcards, one from Stockholm and one from Gothenburg. I really like these two postcards because they are so stylish. It's no wonder that Swedish people can make stylish postcards because they are stylish in every other way, too. Just visit Stockholm and you'll know what I mean.

Other news, my postcard scanning is project is complete! Now I have scanned every single postcard I own, the newest ones, too. Bravo! :)
