New Year's tin

By melting tin and dropping it on cold water on New Year's Eve you can foresee what your new year is like. I did that on New Year's Eve, I melted a small of piece of tin, which was shaped as a horse shoe (like it traditionally is), and this is what I got:

- The surface of the melted tin is coarse in some areas, which is a very good sign; the more coarse the surface is, the more money you will get!

- My tin has only small smooth surfaces, which is a good sign, since having large smooth surfaces predict illnesses.

- I was able to spot two creatures: a man's and a bird's head. A bird indicates happiness and travelling, and a man indicates that a stranger is coming.

- The shadows of my melted tin form the shapes of a dinosaur and a lion, depending on the point of view. I have no idea what a dinosaur would indicate but a lion indicates (according to my sources) success with the help of friends.

According to my New Year's tin, I should have nothing to worry about this year :) Just in case, I did one other trick to ensure that I would have a successful year coming. After being to sauna, I threw the bath visk on the roof of our house. Doing that predicts whether you are going to get married during the new year. The stem of the bath visk pointed outside of the house so.... I'm getting married! Though, I should find a man first...
